Desirous of Simplicity
The universe can be a small world to some and just as big as the universe to others. Our determination and hunger for things we wish to achieve is a definer of how one’s world is. In erstwhile days, humankind strived for a meaningful presence, things like growing up being family’s favorite, starting their own families and having a standard job were a determiner of a fortune. Respect among other matters was a mechanism and a prognostication of realizing before-mentioned events.
Well, because times had to change, nowadays people compete for publicity, acceptance and dominance but means and auguries used in antiquity were not the ones to effect these desires. So poison, armaments and greed had to be the one. Today you are not so successful if your neighbor did not look up to you for food, today you are not so successful if your brother is not dependent on you to survive. Propitiousness at its best became a prostration, a sign of defeat to a war no one is fighting you.
Now in a society driven by such bitchy times, one’s soul and being of their kind is at fade and defeat by slogans such as ‘Go big or Go home’, ‘if you can’t beat them; join them’. But how can one survive such time? For what is worth lord, I am ardent in trading success for simplicity, for I then can only win.
